I feel the aches in my neck and vertebrae from being locked up in a prison that was my neck collar. It stayed on me 24 hours a day. It’s finally over. When my healer cradles my neck in her hands, I’m can now hear my own body scream in the silence. The best thing about this is that I trust that things will change. No matter the intensity of the daily pain, I know it won’t last. I am not destined to have that exact feeling forever. It will move. Some other body part will start to yell louder.
