A side effect of almost dying is the healing in my family. I’ve always carried a chip on my shoulder from being sent to boarding school in India at age 5. It’s taken my whole life to make peace with this. I can now see the bigger picture of the strong foundation that is within me (not even an RV could kill me!). In my softening, the stories of the past that were binding me have unwound and what is left is appreciation and love. I release the grief I’ve been carrying this whole lifetime.
